The Brunette Baker
The Brunette Baker is a Washington State Cottage Food Permitted home bakery. This means I abide by certain rules and restrictions by the State of Washington, so that I can safely provide you with low risk baked goods. It means I have my food handler’s permit. It means my kitchen & home have undergo an annual inspection and application process to become approved. My products come with labeling so you know what ingredients and allergens my products contain. My home is pet free, and smoke free. I take a lot of pride in my business and in serving you. Thank you for your interest in my business & for inlcuding me in your celebrations!
The Cookies
Baked from scratch & decorated by hand. That’s my motto. My cookies are soft baked and always decorate with my home-made buttercream. I feel it provides a taste and texture that outplays royal icing any day. A soft sugar cookie that’s not too sweet, paired with the slightly crusted buttercream that still gives you that creamy dreamy texture.
For any event & every occasion. That’s my other motto. I really believe in this. Not only beautiful but full of flavor and perfect texture-it’s a cookie that won’t let you down. It’s versatile too. My cookies can match any theme or event no matter how big or small.
